The seaside town of GOLFE-JUAN boasts 2 marinas and beaches of fine sand. Napoléon disembarked there on 1st March 1815 for " the 100 days".
The bay of Golfe-Juan, curving between the Cap d’Antibes and the Iles de Lérins, is very sheltered from the wind ; the whole range of bathing and boating activities is possible: rides/walks, lazing on the sandy beaches, sailing and numerous sporting activities !
A feature of this resort is that bathing is possible throughout the year since the temperature of the water ranges from 13 to 25°C. The traditional New Year swim (the morning of the 1st January) attracts numerous devotees !
