Above the town of Modane, at 1500 m, lies the hamlet of le Charmaix, with its old houses of stone and wood, and it is here that the resort of
Valfréjus was created.
With its attractive buildings this charming authentic alpine village dedicated to children, offers a warm & friendly setting for your family holiday. Wide open spaces in a protected environment, close to the Italian border and on the edge of the Vanoise National Park, form the ski area which covers more than 70 km².
It offers 65 km of pistes (4 green, 11 blue, 5 red, 3 black), 13 lifts (2 gondolas, 5 chairlifts, 6 draglifts), 1 cross country piste, 1 snowpark and 18 snow canons.
