At 1400m altitude, in the shelter of a magnificent spruce forest, La Tania is the ideal friendly, family resort. Lying in the heart of the 3 Valleys, the biggest ski area in the world, abundant snow of excellent quality is guaranteed. An entirely traffic free resort, La Tania is a perfect base for children and a popular destination for mountain lovers given its unspoilt setting in the Dou des Lanches forest, midway between Courchevel and Méribel. Its architectural style - small scale residences and wooden chalets - contributes to the charm of this unique village.
The 3 Valleys ski area includes 600km of pistes for downhill skiing: 328 in total (34 black, 118 red, 123 blue, 53 green), 118 km of cross country pistes, 70km walking paths,189 ski lifts (81 drag lifts, 68 chair lifts, 34 gondolas, 6 cable cars) & 1662 snow cannons.

• Every Sunday : green chaud géant (free welcome drink) ; torchlight descent & treasure hunt
• during school holidays : « Red Indian Tea » : young & old enjoy high tea & a variety of activities – out of school holidays : « snow-shoe aperitifs » : snow shoe walk in the forest by torchlight with drinks
• December : traditional Xmas festivities, big New Year’s Eve « Snow Party » with fireworks & dancing on the snow
• February : the forest challenge, spectacle de lutins, Red Indian carnival
