The Camargue is a land of sea and ponds, where nature is kept wild and unspoiled and the local flora and fauna protected. It is a land known for bulls, horses, pink flamingos, and migratory birds that thrive freely in a carefully preserved environment. Nestled up against the canal that forms the backbone of the region, the village of Le Grau-du-Roi has become a seaside resort that has learned to respect the traditions and identity of the Languedoc region to which it belongs. The old beacon suspended atop a tower rich with the colors of the past is the symbol of this warm, inviting resort.
