Aix-les-Bains, 3rd largest spa town in France, is famous for its rhumatology and respiratory treatments, and propose, in any season, wellness treatments. At the heart of the Savoie Olympic area, Aix-les-Bains is situated on the shores of the Lac du Bourget (largest natural lake in France) and only 25km (30 minutes) from the ski resorts of Grand Revard (altitude 1550m).

  • • THINGS TO SEE IN AIX LES BAINS:

    • Museums and Galleries : Musée Faure: group of collections, mostly landscapes and nudes, for the most part Impressionist. Musée
    Lapidaire (archaeological museum): ancient sanctuary which is one of the only three temples preserved in their entirety in France,

    • Aquarium : presentation of the aquatic environment

    • Architecture : Casino Grand Cercle, Château de la Roche du Roi: oriental palace, with keep, terrace, balustrades and ornamental
    gates – Hôtel de Ville – the ancient thermal baths,

    • Lac du Bourget : the largest natural lake in France. Originating from a glacier, its shores are still wild: its west bank has even been named ‘the wild side’. Uninhabited, inaccessible by land, from a distance it looks like an island, with its creeks and moorings.
