Aix-les-Bains, European Capital ‘In Bloom’ and the second largest spa town in France is famous for its rhumatology and respiratory
treatments. At the heart of the Savoie Olympic area, Aix-les-Bains is situated on the shores of the Lac du Bourget, the largest natural lake in
France. The lake is linked to the River Rhône by the Savières canal.
In these surroundings all water sports are the main attraction: swimming, diving, sailing, are everyday activities in the waters of the
lake which can rise to 25°. Mont Revard, altitude 1550m, overlooks the town and offers a panorama over the whole Mont Blanc range. Its footpaths and marked cross country ski pistes are enjoyed by all those who love outdoor activities, walkers and mountain bike enthusiasts.
